sono passati gia 3 anni!

A number of work in progress screenshots of the terrain engine have been posted in the May 2009 section. These show the terrain without any overlays reflecting different locations and seasons and times in the terrain being prepared for the first release.

Area51 will get an update of the cutting edge stuff very soon.

beh si, tutto bello, ma.... il primo post di questo thread risale al 3 Ottobre 2005, ..1..2.. quanto tempo è passato?!?

Beh però le texture non sono sto granchè... spero non siano definitive...
Molto ben resa l'ombra propria del terreno (per intenderci, il chiaroscuro a seconda della quantità  di luce che investe la superficie).
Ma il terreno "piano" è parecchio scarsino. Spero siano state inserite queste texture proprio per risaltare il meshing.

P.S. Sto raccogliendo materiale per i miei nipoti. Chissà  che un giorno possano fare un giro sulla beta.

mah....inizio ad essere un pò scettico a questo punto per quanto riguarda i velivoli....vero che noi abbiamo ancora il falcone, ma solo perchè non c'è nulla di più realistico in giro, nel moneto in cui gli F16 saranno a terra quanto ci tirerà  volarli ancora (ammesso che FO sia uscito è chiaro )
