E' partita la campagna internazionale SEOW. La campagna segue con il Simulatore Il2 Sturmovik 1946, le orme storiche della Battaglia delle Marianne, la più grade e spettacolare battaglia tra portaerei della WWII e della Storia. Si fronteggiarono la mastodontica Flotta Ameicana e la Marina Imperiale Giapponese, pronta a tutto pur di salvare i propri confini operando sia da portaerei che dalle isole dell'arcipelago. Il durissimo teatro, oltre alle insidie del territtorio, fu caratterizzato dalla superirità aerea americana, dove i Grumman F6 Hellcat e i Chance Vought F4 Corsair avevano surclassato nel 1944, gli ormai vecchi Mitzubishi Zero. AMVI è stata chiamata in battaglia per fronteggiare dalla parte Nipponica, l'armata Statunitense. Percorrendo le orme dei gloriosi e coraggiosi Samurai, che sacrificarono in battaglia le proprie vite, pur sapendo di essere in svantaggio di mezzi. La VRS annuncia che il progetto Tac Pack per FSX è entrato nella fase di Closed beta. Sembrerebbe che visto lo stato avanzato dello sviluppo, sarà presto disponibile unaOpen beta per chi ha effettuato il pre-order del prodotto.

Di seguito, il testo originale dell'annuncio pubblicato sul forum della VRS.

VRS is very pleased to announce that we have entered closed beta for the TacPack for FSX. The current number of issues coming back is relatively low, which leaves us fairly confident that we'll be able to enter an open beta sooner rather than later.

THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO OPEN POSITIONS IN CLOSED BETA, SO PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US WITH REQUESTS.

Once again, OPEN beta will be available to ALL preorder customers as soon as closed beta is complete. You do not need to email us, you just need a forum account and your TacPack preorder. If you are not a VRS customer, you will need a copy of the Superbug for FSX in order to obtain the TacPack. We will notify you via email when open beta has begun, and we will also post an announcement here.

Once again we thank all of you who pre-ordered, and we would like to remind potential TacPack customers that the preorder promotion will end on 2/15/2012 12:00 AM PST. Note that this is NOT a ship date. You simply won't be able to preorder beyond that point, and retail sales will begin only after shipping. We intend to ship the software only after we're satisfied that beta has completely run its course. At that time, all existing customers will be notified via email and the retail TacPack will be available as a download from your customer page. Please refer to your TacPack or Superbug invoice for login details.

The TacPack will resume full retail pricing of $34.95 after release.

We're almost there, and we're sure you'll find it was worth the wait! Thanks again for your patronage.
